K2, a proudly Pakistani natural landmark, rises to a stunning height of 8,611 meters (about 28,250 ft), like a giant pyramid. This spectacular hill, often known as “The Little Tibet,” is in the isolated northern province of Baltistan and shares its border with China, with the international line running directly across its gorgeous slopes.
K2 has captivated the world’s attention for its status as the second-highest peak on the planet and for the extraordinary achievements made by mountaineers worldwide. To reach its base camp, one must travel across the treacherous and adventurous terrain of the Baltoro area, a trek that can be completed only via meticulous planning and steadfast determination.
